do you submerge the entire clamped piece into the dyes??

@QuiltSwissy, yes indeed, just a bucket full of water and dyesolution plus soda-ash will do! Best to take hand-warm water as a starting point.

ReplyDeleteI forgot to mention that adding salt wil keep the dye moving in your solution which is quite important when dyeing in buckets.
