Sun Printing By LuAnn Kessi Part 4

Sun Printing

Guest: LuAnn Kessi

The Sun Prints are completed…

It's time to get them up on the Design Wall:

The odd sized prints will create a challenge…

They are trimmed up and ready

to go back on the Design Wall...

This is a hand dye by Vicki Welsh.

These dyed colors work well with my painted sun prints.

This fabric will make a great border!

Here is the completed Quilt:

  1. Beautiful work. The fabrics just glow with light. Very inspirational. Your quilting in the border areas is especially lovely. Do you use a longarm?

  2. It is just beautiful, colours, design and the way you stitched through it. Amazing to seen what people can make with a little patience. Thank you for the wonderful serial and the clear way with the pictures to explain the process. Great!

  8. I have a Sweet 16 Sit Down Long Arm, but have quilted bed size quilts in my little Bernina with a 7 inch throat. Use what you have and make it work for you.
