Brighter more saturated colours.
I will have to give this a go when I have the dye our again.
Your explanations and clarifications were great!
I understand a little dutch but not enough to speak it or write it!
Thank you for the tutorial. But imagine your wrapped marble after step one, looks like a parachute. Then turn it upside down. The fabric will fall down and cover your marble again. It looks like a fountain perhaps, your hand will be covered with the fabric, holding the marble. Now tie again, which is the complete opposite of the first tie. So, a second layer of fabric is now around the marble. Is this clear? Otherwise I will ask Beth to translate ;-). And of course after the second dye bath, same procedure, turn your parachute upside down and let the fabric fall down around the marble again, tie for the third time.
Nienkehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12174622659105816964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1436421032239107606.post-88830934113725475362013-04-03T02:49:09.372-04:002013-04-03T02:49:09.372-04:00Verry nice techniek!!!Verry nice techniek!!!ann vanherlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02350970855987780306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1436421032239107606.post-35060188579876596682013-04-02T16:01:24.387-04:002013-04-02T16:01:24.387-04:00Wonderfull I hope to start tomorrow with trying. ...Wonderfull I hope to start tomorrow with trying. greetings from liesbethLiesbeth Wesselshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06163077183264050974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1436421032239107606.post-5743755832303394652013-04-02T13:32:22.421-04:002013-04-02T13:32:22.421-04:00I know what I am going to do this weekend!I know what I am going to do this weekend!Quilt or Dyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07194932090799851056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1436421032239107606.post-22653800701415198642013-04-02T13:27:35.316-04:002013-04-02T13:27:35.316-04:00Very clever and I like the plastic wrapped results...Very clever and I like the plastic wrapped results better. Wish I could today but the clock is ticking and not in my favor!

My favorites (by only a small margin) are the wrapped plastic wrap ones.

One question - I'm not sure I understand the "turn the fabric upside down part" and where and how to wrap with plastic. My brain just isn't catching that part this morning.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17010332780140003901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1436421032239107606.post-52956529219614585002013-04-02T12:25:48.679-04:002013-04-02T12:25:48.679-04:00did you use pima cotton?did you use pima cotton?Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03951680905658205957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1436421032239107606.post-81155285408748634102013-04-02T10:32:52.695-04:002013-04-02T10:32:52.695-04:00ooh -- I can't wait to try this.
